Dear Colleagues!
We warmly invite you to participate in the international scientific and training conference “100th Anniversary of University Nursing Education in Poland. Achievements and Future Challenges,” which will take place from December 10–12, 2025, at the Auditorium Maximum of the Jagiellonian University in Kraków.
In this exceptional jubilee year, we wish to jointly celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the University School of Nurses and Health Caregivers in Kraków – an institution established in 1925 through the efforts of Maria Epstein and Anna Rydlówna. Their pioneering work marked the beginning of modern academic nursing in Poland. Their legacy and professional mission continue to inspire generations of nurses.
During the conference, we will address the most important issues in contemporary nursing – from professional education and clinical practice to scientific research and the role of nurses within therapeutic teams. The program will feature lectures by experts from Poland and abroad, scientific sessions, discussion panels, and thematic workshops, offering participants the opportunity to deepen their knowledge, exchange experiences, and jointly reflect on the future of healthcare.
The conference is dedicated to nurses, midwives, medical students, academic faculty, representatives of healthcare institutions, and all those interested in the field and development of contemporary nursing.
This December, Kraków will become the heart of reflection on the past, present, and future of academic nursing in Poland.
We look forward to welcoming you,
The Conference Organizing Committee
